Purpose

The Copper program operates on an asynchronous communication model, allowing ABBL to manage client work efficiently while maintaining a structured quarterly workflow. This approach supports accuracy, organization, and consistency without the expectation of real-time responses.

What’s Included

As part of the Copper program:

  • All communication is handled through the client portal

  • ABBL will acknowledge receipt of your message

  • Responses will be provided within a reasonable timeframe based on workflow priorities

“Asynchronous” means that responses are not immediate and are handled as part of scheduled internal processes—not in real time.

How Communication Works

  • Messages are reviewed and responded to during normal workflow cycles

  • Questions related to bookkeeping are typically addressed during the monthly processing period

  • Clarifications may be requested through To-Do items in the client portal

  • More detailed discussions are best handled during scheduled meetings

Alternative Communication Options

If you require faster or more interactive communication:

  • Zoom Meetings can be scheduled for real-time discussion (additional fees may apply if outside included scope)

  • Email Communication Add-On is available for clients who prefer communication outside the portal

    • Requires acceptance of related terms and conditions

Client Responsibilities

To ensure efficient communication, clients are expected to:

  • Use the client portal for all standard communication

  • Allow reasonable time for responses

  • Consolidate questions where possible instead of sending multiple messages

  • Schedule meetings when real-time discussion is needed

What Is Not Included

This feature does not include:

  • Real-time or immediate responses

  • On-demand communication or instant messaging support

  • Same-day guaranteed replies

  • Ongoing back-and-forth communication outside the structured workflow

When a Change Order or Upgrade May Apply

A change order or upgrade may be required if:

  • Communication becomes frequent, urgent, or outside normal expectations

  • Real-time or high-touch support is consistently requested

  • Additional meetings or advisory time is needed

Clients requiring faster response times or more direct access may be better suited for Bronze, Gold, or Platinum services.

Why This Matters

An asynchronous communication model allows ABBL to focus on completing your work accurately and efficiently, rather than reacting to messages in real time. This structure ensures your bookkeeping is handled with consistency and attention to detail.

The Bottom Line

Copper communication is structured, efficient, and non-real-time.

You’ll always receive responses—but not instantly. When real-time support is needed, meetings and upgraded service levels provide the appropriate level of access.
