Annual Support Allocation (13 Total Hours Included in Starter Program)

The Starter program includes a total of 13 hours of support per year, which covers both internal bookkeeping work and limited live client support. This structure ensures that sufficient time is allocated to complete your annual bookkeeping accurately while keeping the service efficient and cost-effective.


Breakdown of Included Hours

The 13 total hours are allocated as follows:1 hour per year is reserved for a live Zoom meeting to review your financials, typically scheduled after year-end financials are delivered.

The remaining 12 hours per year are allocated toward internal bookkeeping and administrative support, which represents approximately 1 hour per month of backend work performed by the ABBL team.


Internal Bookkeeping Support (12 Hours Per Year)

The 12 hours of internal support are used by the ABBL team to perform tasks such as processing transactions, reviewing documents, posting entries, preparing your books for reconciliation, handling portal communications, and completing administrative workflow tasks related to your account.

These hours are not live meetings and are used at ABBL’s discretion throughout the year and during the year-end process.


Live Support (1 Hour Per Year)

The included 1 hour of live support is conducted via Zoom and is intended for reviewing your year-end financials, answering questions, and providing general clarification. Additional meetings beyond this included hour may be scheduled and will be billed separately.


How Time Is Managed

Time is tracked internally across your account to ensure that work remains within the scope of the Starter program. The allocation is designed to support businesses with low transaction volume and simple financial needs.


What Happens If Time Is Exceeded

If the total time required to complete your work exceeds the 13 included hours, additional time will be billed as a change order. Hourly rates are as follows:

$150 per hour for live support and principal-level work $75 per hour for bookkeeping and administrative work. Frequent overages may indicate that your business has outgrown the Starter program and may be better suited for a higher-tier service.

What Is Not Included

This feature does not include unlimited support, ongoing live meetings, or priority service beyond the defined time allocation. It also does not include carrying forward unused hours to future periods.


Client Responsibilities

Clients can help stay within the included time by providing complete and timely documentation, responding to questions in the portal, and keeping financial activity within the expected scope of the program.
