Month-End Bronze Financials — Reconciled & Delivered by the 20th

Purpose

The Month-End Financials process is where all bookkeeping work comes together into a complete and organized set of financial reports. This feature ensures your financial data is fully processed, reconciled, and presented in a clear format each month—giving you consistent visibility into your business performance.


What’s Included

As part of the Bronze program, ABBL completes your monthly financials for the prior month’s activity on a structured timeline.


By the 20th of each month, we will:

  • Post all transactions from included accounts

  • Reconcile all included bank, credit card, and applicable loan accounts

  • Complete internal bookkeeping and review workflows

  • Generate and deliver your monthly financial reports

All reports are prepared using Cash Basis Accounting, reflecting actual cash received and paid during the period.


Financial Reports Included

Your monthly financial package includes:

  • Profit & Loss Statement – shows income and expenses for the month and year-to-date

  • Balance Sheet – shows your assets, liabilities, and equity at a point in time

  • Sales by Customer Summary – highlights revenue by customer (when applicable)

  • Expense by Vendor Summary – shows where your money is being spent

  • Uncategorized Transactions Report – identifies items requiring your clarification

  • General Ledger (up to 200 transactions) – detailed record of all posted activity

  • Reconciliation Summary – confirms account balances match statements

  • Reconciliation Detail – shows cleared transactions tied to each reconciliation


These reports are delivered through your client portal and stored for ongoing access and reference.


What ABBL Does Internally

To complete your month-end financials, ABBL:

  • Finalizes all bookkeeping for the prior month

  • Performs bank and credit card reconciliations against statements

  • Reviews financial data for accuracy and consistency

  • Identifies and flags any missing or unclear transactions

  • Ensures all reports align with cash-basis accounting standards

  • Completes an internal review and approval process before releasing reports

This structured workflow ensures your financials are complete, accurate, and ready for use.


Timing & Dependencies

Your financials are targeted for completion by the 20th of each month, provided that:

  • All bank and credit card statements are available

  • Required documents have been submitted on time

  • Client responses to To-Do items are received when needed

Delays in receiving information may result in incomplete reports or timeline adjustments.


What Is Not Included

This feature does not include:

  • Accounts Receivable (AR) Aging reports

  • Accounts Payable (AP) Aging reports

  • Accrual-based financial reporting

  • Real-time or mid-month financial updates

  • Financial forecasting or advisory analysis

  • Expanded General Ledger reporting beyond 200 transactions


To include AR/AP reporting, clients must add:

  • Hybrid Cash Modified Accounting, or

  • Accrual Basis Accounting,

    along with the required workflow services.


When an Upgrade or Add-On May Be Required

An upgrade or add-on may be needed if:

  • You require visibility into outstanding customer invoices or vendor bills

  • Your business operates on credit terms

  • Transaction volume exceeds reporting limits

  • More advanced financial reporting or analysis is required


In these cases, ABBL may recommend additional services or a higher-tier program.
